Fleur Humeur is often moody. Sometimes it's a good mood, sometimes bad. But when the summer is over and she has to go back to school, Fleur is quite moody. When Mr. Kokker assigns the class a special "Me" project, she really gets a chance to express herself!
She gets all in a cut-and-paste mood. But how  can you stick your favorite pet on a sheet of paper?
Partly because of the large font, the wide line spacing, short phrases and popular language it's easily readable.
Fleur's got a lot of humor.  
The cheerful illustrations perfectly match the atmosphere.

The book is about the issues a box of 12 crayons might have. Teun, the owner, needs to make a drawing. But when he opens his box of crayons, he only finds letters, all saying the same thing: We quit
In the letters  his crayons explain why they are on strike.
On each , left page you will find the letter of a crayon and on the right a drawing that fits in well with the crayon's color.
In the end Teun finds an artistic way to make them all happy.
The drawings are funny for young children, the book is well suited to learn about color. For slightly older children (and parents) is a wonderful book, full of humor, different emotions all expressed in color !
