Under the ground- Under Water
Aleksandra and Daniel Mizielinscy take you deep underground and underwater to impressive places where no man has gone before. Two books in one: one half of the book takes place underground, but when you flip the book you're underwater.
Under the ground is very informative but it is interspersed by beautiful illustrations. It's a delight for young children to browse and as they grow older they will notice that it is not inferior to most of the geography books.
It tells about the tunnel boring machine, the subways and mines as well as the first submarines to deep sea fish with a luminous organ under their eye.
Highly recommended it's a book that lasts. I learned a lot of things I didn't know :-)
